Hi im trying tp upgrade boot file at moment my 5100 ultra has ver 5 i am trying to send boot_Al7bar CI+ Ultra_ver61_040708.bin but i keep getting error's some same er(01) on pc or with another tool i get ERROR: FILE TYPE DISMATCHED..

pls help i have managed to put 284 firmware on it ok i get won't flash the boot file..

im having problems sending the key file i attach below,, it sends ok but every time i click upload to check the new key file is in place i keep getting the old key file it is as if the new file won't over write,, what am i doing wrong..

ok, hi all. I've just bought a cheap fortec 5000V2 receiver. Put my dish on the wall. Managed to align it to Astra 28.2 and Astra 19.

I've seen the firmware uploads from Al7Bar's website.

Can someone explain to me what the firmware will do, and how the emulation keys work/install / if they work with my box.

This is my first play with Satellite equipment and I'm not sure what the potential is.

Make absolutely sure that you use the correct software and files.
If you use the wrong ones, you will have a very useful doorstop.
