I've read the forums on the AL7Bar site, but im still not sure what the box will do, and or I have to do to the box.

I've uploaded the latest AL7 firmware onto the box, went on fine. I can find no newbie guide to help me in my project.

Please correct if im wrong cause i will be.

The latest application that i've installed contains the keys to unscramble the channels 5000v2_315s_cpa_x_xl_060323 yes/no?

If it doesn't contain the keys, where and how do i upload them to the box?
Is it even possible to watch scramble channels on the Astra 28.2 satellites with this box?

Hi tahzo,
Firstly Astra2 28e has 99% of its scrambled channels in NDS (i.e. S*Y) Not cracked. Astra 19e however have more channels that use different encryption and maybe cracked on your box. I would however if possible. Set your dish to Hotbird 13e where there are hundreds of channels that use encryptiuon that is cracked on the fortecs. I have a Diamond model (among others) I am not sure if you can add keys manualy to your box but if you can download the latest keyfile from the al7bar site and enter them.

I have moved over to the Astra 19 satellite, I've got loads of channels but they are still showing up as NDS.

Can you tell me what DIGITAL+ is?

I have found the option in the menu for CODE - and it show a load of keys.

I'm figuring that I need to enter the 4 digit code when im on a encrypted channel for the box to unscramble it with the code in the list.???

Hi, there is no easy answer for you. You do need to do a lot more study.

and look in guides under general information, Solved problems for all receivers, there is a post there describing code input for Fortec.
D+ is a Spanish language version of SKY, for which there are no working keys at the moment. Soon???
And your idea of inputing the keys is way out.
Sorry but you'll have to follow your nose around the Board to get all the info you need.

Emulation key is not functioning with Fortec Star Life time ultra receivers. Are they changing keys daily?? Looking forward for the next posting. Thanks
