Upgrading!!

Hello.. Can anyone help me how can i update the latest keys and software onto my GOLDEN INTERSTAR dvb-t/s 8300ci. got an STBupgrade ver 1.9.1 don't know if its good or i need another software. Been looking everywhere but havn't got a clue what i have to do. Thanks in advance.

thats a good site. downloaded the software i need but still no success. i tried but seems there is no connection between my pc and sat or i'm not using the software.

try downloading the latest loader from utilities section.
It`s version 1.9.5.

I downloaded that as well the thing is that i don't know how to use it. For example don't know what com1 is or what no. i have do it. Well something wrong i'm doing. I will keep on trying maybe one day i'll succeed .

Dunca, please make sure you plug it in the right port and you choose that port to transfer. I can`t tell you exactly how because on mine i use a pendrive on the usb on the decoder, which is far more easy.
Hope that somebody else can help you in this thing, mate.
A lot of people do these things the way you`re trying to do it, so there should be someone that can tell you exactly how.

Hi Sparks!!

Finally I got good news!! I managed to update my decoder. The thing was that I had to leave the decoder switched off and on connection switch it on and the upload starts alone. Pretty easy to do mate if you would know about this thing. Had to go from where I bought it and ask about it!

Yes I've seen the knew decoder with the usb! It's easy and comfortable..it was a brilliant idea to do the usb thing. For now got to stay with this decoder may be in couple of months i hope i will be able to get the new HD decoder it's great i really liked it but at the moment they are still testing it!

Glad you finally managed to update your decoder.
Yesterday I realised you`re Maltese like me. HAHAHA

hehe!! that's funny been looking for a Maltese satellite forum and i never found one, or there is no one on. And I had to speak with a Maltese person on an international site!!
