Plaza XT-M Problem
Manhattan plaza xt-m problem!!

Hi everybody!
My problem is that i can't connect my receiver Plaza XT-M with my pc!
Can anyone help me please!!!!!!!!!
Connection RS232 don't work and also using a USB connector i can't connect!!!
Please Help!!!!!
You have to use a null modem cable not a serial cable

you need RS232 Null Modem Cable you can get in any store...then you conect between your pc and box, make sure that your pc takes RS232 cable if not then you have to get a USB cable and conecte it to your pc and to the rs232 cable and then to the receiver then it should work...
make sure the com is right so the pc will see the cable....good luck
I bought a nul cable but nothing works again!!!

first of all are you sure that your pc takes RS232 modem cable? if it does not then you have to get a USB cable....second make sure when you open the file that you have the correct COM,to make sure which com to use check from your PC...it can be COM1 or 2-----or com 4..... third point is you have to switch on the box after you press connect......
Nothing is working! Ialso bought a usb cable but nothing!\Any more suggestions or any pic how to do it?

Please tell us exactly what you are doing ............. There are instructions of how to in the last patch file .......... follow exactly the instructions and you should not have a problem to update the patch. Also may I suggest to use different port on your pc as maybe the port is faulty
1) i used a rs232 cable! Nothing
2) a rs232 cable usb!nothing
3) a null cable ! Nothing
i tried all avalaible ports! Nothing
any more help if anybody can offer me????
Are you switching the stb from the back when clicking on ' connect' ?
