SBB adds more Eutelsat capacity

The leading Serbian cable and DTH operator Serbia Broadband (SBB) has secured additional capacity on Eutelsat’s W2 satellite.

Under the terms of the deal, SBB will have access to a 36MHz transponder at Eutelsat’s 16 degrees East neighbourhood for a period of seven years.

It will allow its Total TV DTH platform, which is available in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, to launch HD, PVR and VOD in 2009.
