alright lads bit of a problem i flashed the update to box instead of converter file now i have 4 lines on box,have i shagged it?
Oh dear, i think you may have rushed into this, i did try to warn you.. Try flashing this file to your box, it is official file
cheers kip,will give it a go,is there a x800 file and if so do i have to flash 300 file first then 800?
I think you can just use the 800 with the mc although you must remember i have not tried this and am only telling you what i have read before, i think you can just use the latest firmware for the 800 and change the header with boxpatcher but again this is new ground for me.. please let me know if you have success as this will be good to know
so i dont have to convert first or just put the update straight on?
Firstly, have you got the apollo software working again? or is it still dead?
cheers kip managed to reflash 800 file.but after reboot of box went straight to four stripes.
still wont let me flash,anyone any ideas?
TRy reflashing with the file i have posted above to try and get it back to the original firmware before trying to convert, if this does not work then i would suggest jtag.. Hopefully someone else may be able to input with experience of this..
