i have a golden interstar 8005 ci receiver . how do i get to the menu where i can enter in keys with the remote control . Does anyone know the method , if so please reply and let me know aslo...thanks

hi urmans thanks for your quick response to my question. i tried to punch in 8282 then the blue button but still i only get the audio video menu yes i have a golden interstar model 8005ci from bigsat . i entered in the keys before by pressing 0 on the remote and i got the menu.... now when i press 0 i get the signal frequency i aslo looked to the sight you suggested is it another tway you might know or how to solve my problem if so can u share it with me. thanks for listening deld

Deld tell me what happen when you press 8282... it should appear on the screen KEYs Menu... and If nothing happen this is mean you should TRY Another Numbers...
As far as I know receiver (from) BigSat use 8282 to open keys menu.
if you can see the keys menu you do everything is from there only... you exit/save when you finish, of course you know how keys look like...

urmans when i press 8282 it does nuthing but change to channel 828 then it disappears now im on channel 828 and no key menu. i remind you i entered in the keys once beffore on this reciever by pressing 0 and the keys menu appeared but now after pressing 0 i get the signal quality menu..... (aslo another thing i can get the biss key menu by pressing the red button on the remote. ) thanks deld

See! you discover something, that's good, maybe after you press 0 you need to move left/right or there is something writen on top or press 0 twice, the menu keys code never changes Deld, try to remember, maybe you press another button before you press 0.
BTW you press red button after you press 0? or what?.
Remember Deld when you press Numeral on the remote it should be above or more than your receiver can receive channels. (eg: if your receiver can get 5000 channels you must press above 5000, let says 5001 and press as quick as you can, check the manual for how many channels can get, this mean not the channel you are getting now). for some receiver if you press numeral more than your current channels is not possible.
I'm sure you'll find that forgoten button.
