Hi everyone,
I have owned from new a koan 511 which has an embedded @sky slot,
I realise that this means the reciever will decrypt some digital channels
but i have never updated the software for this machine, can someone please tell me how i go about the update and its procedure.
My kaon has a serial number of(above the barcode) KSC 511 ANV, and
another numbers (below the barcode) which is A1 4243 B 2 3 00916.
any advise would be very gratefully recieved because at this piont i do not have a clue.
In addition to the koan i have a 1.2mtr motorised dsq motorized dish, cas2 and all the addons, a matrix revolutions cam a white penta card.
I picked up the card from ebay for a steal of a price compared to the retail cost, but do not know which channels and satellites to point my system toward in order to get the best from this penta card, so as a above any help about the penta card ,its 'bin?' files and channels would be great .

i understand that the penta card can be updated via the cas2 with the latest cas2 software, but which files do i use to reprogram the card.
I hope that i have not gone on for to long with my questions, and will gladly share any advise given to me with other newbes, along these lines..
