SIC content now on-demand

Portugal's national private broadcaster SIC has signed an agreement with pay-TV operator Meo for the distribution of its content on demand.

Meo has already begun offering some SIC programmes on its Catch-up TV serice as well as SIC news channel version SIC Notícias. Later the content base will be extended in order to include famous telenovelas such as Rebelde Way or Podía Acabar o Mundo as well as other formats.

And in a second phase this strategy will also include content from SIC Radical, SIC's version for youngsters, and SIC Mulher, SIC's channel for women.
