hi everyone good forum.the problem i have is im trying to covert the above box to a open box.but every time i try and convert with sveral wsw files found on here the converter programer tells me to check the model of the box and wont flash,any one any ideas.
uv got to find the right file which corresponds to ur box,.

Unfortunately there is no convert file for the apollo mc

Yes i think the apollo will still open some stuff with keys, but not sure what, almost certain it will open digitv 1w though.. I don't know if a convert file will be made for the mc, although i would not think so.. It may be possible to convert it using box patcher, but this is a bit more complicated as you need to know the header for your modelOriginally Posted by barniedog

Ok, ive never used box patcher but from what i understand the apollo mc will convert to the openbox x800.. For your model to except the 800 software, the header must match that on your receiver.. Before you try this DO MORE RESEARCH as what i'm telling you here i have not tried and have only read about briefly.. I think you need to open the openbox wsw file with boxpatcher and then enter the current software version in the box below - click '?' tab for more info.. then press save file and i think you can then load that file onto your box thus converting it.. Hopefully someone with more experience with this could confirm as i'm not sure this is %100 right
