Would like to update my Xcruiser XDSR400, and I also downloaded the Xlink_1.11 and ChannelEdit1.03 so that I will have the tools needed, but when I connect the rs-232 I don't have the connection on both com ports (1 or 2 ). I am using my laptop (asus A2800s) and since I don't have a com port I am using a converter from usb to null modem cable.Which this did work on older receiver of a different model.
Can you please help, If the Xlink_1.11 does not support connection as said on my laptop, is there any other program that support my type on connection. And which firmware do I have to download.
