Changes at the top for HTCC

The Hungarian Telephone and Cable Corp (HTCC) has announced important changes in its senior management.

Its chairman Jesper Theill Eriksen and vice chairman Carsten Dyrup Reysbech have resigned from the board of directors due to their increased work commitments at Mobile Nordic, a business unit at Denmark’s TDC, and been replaced by Jesper Ovesen and Morten Bull Nielsen respectively.

The HTCC board has also elected Henrik Scheinemann and Jesper Ovesen as its chairman and vice chairman respectively.

Earlier this week TDC decided not to sell its controlling stake in HTCC, which operates under the brand name Invitel and has a presence in Hungary’s IPTV sector.
