Orange TV’s impressive numbers

France Telecom's Orange TV division has seen its subs numbers swell an impressive 72% over the past year.

At Sept 30 the Orange-branded IPTV service had 1.746m subscribers in France, Poland and Spain (1.017m same period 2007). More than 210,000 customers were added in Q3/2008, and in itself another remarkable number. Orange's French subs base stands at 1.6m.

There was no word on whether Orange would be launching a similar service in the UK in 2009.
