Premiere to turn off old Nagra2 on October 30Th 2008

Ok acording to http://www.digitalfernsehen.de/news/news_620453.html Premiere will be closing down there old Nagra2 Encryption Systems' on the 30Th of the Month. So why post this here on the NDS Form then?

Well it seems that the ~Oh so great NDS Hack~ is due for the chop too!
As Premiere will be shutting that Door too tomorrow. (17.10.08).

So those of you watching via the NDS Direct Control Word Hack enjoy the last few hours you have. Premiere will no longer be broadcasting this "DCW" nor will it renew such a Key for those that are still waiting for there Cards. Again it's the loyal & legal Customers that get screwed over! Your all just going to be SOL till the Card comes.

For the rest of us still using the N2 01 Key (IIRC), Premiere will start to scall back there Channels starting Monday (20.10.08), starting with Premiere Star. And I'm sure you can guess that more Channels / Packets will fall as we edge closer to the 30th.

The "Card" in qusetion is about as real as the Centrus (or what ever it's called), that is to say it's fake!

If it were that easy we'd all be watching BSKYB, or Sky Itl. (NDS), or AFN on PowerVu. Sadly this is not so. It took better Brains then those in this Forum (mine included!), over Two Years just to crack the ROM122 to et us the "keys" needed to open that stuff up to begin with. Now that we're talking about a new System (NDS) plus Nagra3 (Merlin for reference N2 was Alaidin), it'll likey be some time before a new Hack can be discoverd.
