Echolink 3020 Not Picking Up Channels

Hi all
I just changed my Technomate 5300 to an Echolink 3020 IR Plus because we lost TPS and apparently these boxes are one of the few that can view and auto update TPS. The eBay auction clearly stated it was fully patched and auto updating on TPS already amoung ather channels. I am not at all convinced the box is patched as its not showing any non FTA channels and also, why when i scan on Astra 19 does it not pick up the Premiere Sport Portal? I had it on my Technomate...

So far, I'm unimpressed! I hope I can work out how to patch it from the guides here, but that won't answer why the Sport Portal isn't there...

Someone mentioned about SmartCard not being enabled on the tools menu. Mine is disabled. I tried 2020 but that didn't do anything. How do i know if this box is patched?

Just to add, i did a factory reset and rescan. I then used the 2020 code in the Menu to enable CAS which worked, then 2121 to enable TPS Keys. I still can't get any TPS channels. All encrpted. Is there a specific channel that auto updates?

I'm new to this box so any help is much appreciated. I am still not sure if any of this means the box is patched or not!!

You need a Abr*c*d*bra card for getting th T*S channels at all,it's not getting without card dear !

I better buy myself an Abracadabra card then! At least I am half way there now in having the right box...!
