Désolé les amis mais cette fois, la Fin de TPS sur HotBird est officialisée pour le 31 décembre 2008 (fin de la diffusion). Il n'y aura pas d'espoir d'un retour ou d'un miracle par les h***.

A cette date votre contrat d'abonnement TPS sera automatiquement résilié. Si vous n'avez donc pas migré d'Hot Bird à Astra, en contactant les « experts de la migration » avant le 18 novembre ( 0805 806 303) , il ne vous reste plus que quelques semaines avant l'écran noir …

C'est la fin d'une époque, celle où nous avions la chance de bénéficier de deux bouquets français par satellite , ce qui a stimulé pendant des années une concurrence bénéfique pour les consommateurs que nous sommes.

Désormais la concurrence satellitaire est réduite : en fait elle s'exerce uniquement entre les différents moyens de réception de la télévision , satellite, TNT, câble et ADSL.

Et sans concurrence, ... vive la loi du monopole et de toutes ses dérives...

iv'e always found that you must never write anything off
and even though most of tps is now on astra 19e and in
a different encryption. i'm sure we will get it back eventually
it will i think come back first on the dreambox and then cams
as always in this hobby as one door closes anouther opens
and i think most in the uk would soon have D+ and cabo back
before tps

TPS will be off at the end of the year, that's official from its owner, groupe C+.
now, maybe will see at this moment a hack for an other package (like c+ on 19° via the viacess 2.5 or 2.6 encryption used for the stand alone card).
but i do agree with many posters here that the hobby is getting more and more commercial and not in a good way, the abracadra card is the perfect exemple : people selling a card mainly for tps knowning that the trick will last maximum 4 months...a taste of k3, isn't it ?
but winter and snow are coming, people need icescrapper...
