Hi there, can someone please explain me how to upgrade my opticum 4100c. I have a Serial cable (null modem) and all the required software.
I am using windows XP to do this.
First of all, when I connect receiver to pc and refresh the device manager, nothing happens (tried both with receiver turned off and ON and STAND BY modes). I don't know if this is a problem, maybe it must be this way.
Secondly when I Run the upgrade application (tried all versions available), load the firmware or key and press next, there is only this text "Test serial cable connection".
So I would really appreciate if someone could explain me in detail how do you upgrade your receiver (4100c).
I am sorry if this is not a place to ask such question. If so please delete this comment, Then I will try to find the help elsewhere.
