When i try to send to my deco the new firmware, pionero returns me that error: "Error in negotiation phase 6 - ACK Low", just after opening LPT1
I tried on 2 computers (win 2k - winxp) whit the same result.
Please help me.
My deco: Pioneer DBR-S210I (the box and the label on the case of the deco say this but the mother board inside is a BNP-1354-E)

Did you check // port (ECP/EPP) , must be ECP
I've double checked but my problem still persist. My LPT is setted ECP in BIOS.
And your config in Pionero for 1354-E : memory TC58FVT160FT-10 and M29W800AT

nothing to do with eeprom. Is it the first time you flash your box?

Yes, this is the first time I flash my pioneer box, I perfectly follow the istruction i found concearning this without success.
There is something to do for the first time??? No document i found mention this.
There are some know problems with this type of decoder??? Searcing on google groups I found other people with the same problem and same decoder all without solution.
This morning i'm going to assemble a jtag, i suppose this is the easy way but this let me without response... i need to know
The more easy way is // and Rs232 read carefully this file and flash your box with Pioneero 4.0
I find this ; In Pionero v4.0 check in configuration
Negotiation 4 delay : 10 steps
This is the Time out of event 6 in thr ECP specifications

In the meantime I have tried this procedure with another 3 computer without results.
At this point i think there is something in my decoder
Today i try my jtag.
