I've just obtained a gamma and after programming it doesn't work with any of the files. A simple test shows that this could be a faulty card - I am programming that card an another gamma with the same files (by using phoenix 6.0 Mhz) and one of them works fine while the other one doesn't open anything. How can I know whether the card is faulty and are there any methods to fix the card ? Many thanks in advance!
If the loader finds the atr of the card and sais it's gamma atr then the card is ok. Try to load the file on 3,57 Mhz i always use this and have now problem so far.
Well, it's strange because the cas3 shows the ATR of the card as
ATR 3B 9F 21 0E 47 41 4D 4D 41 43 41 52 44 20 56 20 31 2E 34 9D
but none of the loaders displays the ATR
that looks like a clean 1.4 gamma ATR
Everything leads me to the conclusion that it is a faulty gamma card. Although the card changes its ATR after programming it does not decode anything. I got another gamma card that works perfectly with the same files.
I obtained this faulty card from the sat-shop called Satbroker-online (inGermany), so this is a WARNING - don't buy gammas at Satbroker-online, it's highly probable that you get crap
