No atr or dead gamma cards <= Read this

Hi , i bought a Gamma card for 60$ and i thought i can trust the seller.
may be i was wrong.
anyway, when i try to program it , got error "no atr".
after many hours of trying many things , by a chance i put gamma card in a starsat 7300 ( with Ali-C cpu and support for Abracadabra card)
and then it recognize the card as Abracadabra card and start programing the card.
and after about 3 minutes , the card opened showtime , ...

I don't know if from the first place the seller sold me the Abracadabra card in place of Gamma
OR
it was a dead no atr Gamma card which i convert it to Abracadabra.
Anyway, working Abracadabra (worth 30$) is better than dead Gamma (paid 60$)

the fact is that , Abracadabra is a card which ,as i know, no receiver or card reader or Cam can not recognize or detect it.
So if u have a dead gamma from the begining, then maybe it's not gamma at all. ( cheating sellers )
So as a last shot , u can try what i did.
And also if it's possible to convert Gamma to Abra then maybe it's possible to convert Abra to Gamma. (Abra is cheaper and easier to buy) , also need to remind that Abra is supporting by Moresat team which have Gamma's irdeto2 algorithm too
Any idea plz ?

Also right now the atr of the card starts with "3B".... and i think gamma atr starts with "3B".... too.

if you don't have enough information about these smart cards ,
then you cannot say it's "funny"

Nah he's absolutely right, the abra/vista/kebab are ALL gammacards (same factory) and the only thing different on it is the OS !

Hi,i also have a gammacard?When i try to program it on my pc that have a
usb to rs-232,as i dont have direkt comport outlet.The programmer says
This is not a gammacard,the ATR is F7 and so on.I tryed on a pc with a
rs-232 outlet and it says This is not a gammacard,the ATR is 3b and so.
Been using cas3+,and Infinity usb Phonix.Got my card from a Austrian
card shop,and it is written gamma on it.

ATR is 3b9f210e47414d4,could be a number missing cos i dont have
acsess to that pc right now.

Well the ATR is indeed incomplete but it does look like a Gamma card.
The full ATR should be
ATR: 3B 9F 21 0E 47 41 4D 4D 41 43 41 52 44 20 56 20 31 2E 3x xx

So at least you know you have a Gamma card - there are many complete fakes about.

I suspect it is the USB programmer/cable that is the problem.
