I Have Humax IR-ACE 2 DECODER I AM USING FOR WATCHING PEHALA NETWORK , I AM WATCHING ALSO FREE CHANNELS FROM INSAT2B AND PANAMSAT 10 AND ASIASAT 3S (INDIAN CHANNELS) IT IS STOPING TO WORK WHILE WATCHING FREE CHANNELS (BUT PEHALA CHANNELS ARE WORKING WITHOUT ANY DISTURB) FREE CHANNELS WILL START TO WORK WHEN I UP DOWN THE CHANNELS I THINK IT IS SOFTWARE PROBLEM OR PEHALA NETWORK TEAM MADE A PROGRAMM FOR NOT TO WATCH FREE CHANNELS.PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN ME OR HELP ME TO FIX THE PROBLEM

Hi,

I am a new member and desperately need some information. In India Tata-Sky (Rupert Murchoch!) have started their DTH operation and have tied up with Humax and Thomson to supply set top boxes or IRDs. I have been given a Humax set which does not carry any model number. It has on free CI slot with NDS built-in. There is not PC connectivity (RS 232?) at the back and the remote does not have a menu button. The tuning facility is locked and I think the set comes with a particular software loaded and locked.

please can any tell me what model this might be?

Have you looked carefully at the back?
Maybe, it has RS-232c.

I got Humax PR-FOX with RS-232c at the back of the receiver.
I need to know if it's possible to flash it somehow?
