Ali 29c S/W

[reagent]

Hi Frinds
I have StarTrack ST-15X reciever, I used to upgrade the frameware every 2 - 3 days to open SH / ART / Hotbird.
now for more than 2 month the update is not opening any channels, I can see there is new updates every 2 -3 days for Ali-29C but it is not functioning properly.
I asked some guys who have some knowlege about this and they tolled me the S/W has been changed. is it true ??
if so from where I can download the new s/w ??

your help is really approciated..
best regards

[Antonio Montene]

Hello,
Art and show ok with the last firm and the abracadabracard

[ifuon]

My receiver (Starsat 4000 super - AliC) does not have a card reader.

Does it mean that I cannot use the new software updates at all, or does it mean that it will work on my receiver but not open anything?

Also, I read somewhere that the decrypting actually is done by the software in the receiver and that the abracadabra card just acts as a key to unblock the software decryption routines. Is this a correct statement?

Happy new year to all.

Hi Shams
Thanks for reply, I did that, TVN channel is open but what is RAI ?? what about ART and Showtime on nilesat and other channel on hotbird ??

[meguel]

Hi reagent,

ART & showtime and other channels in Hotbird needs the abracadabra card to open it. Without this card you cannot able watch those channels.

regards & Have a Prosperous New Year,
