I just bought a Dreambox 500S (BTW, don't now if it is a real one or a clone).
I succeded to connect it to my PC through a direct ethernet connection (I have no serial cable).
I installed DCC but now there is such a mass of information than it is hard to find the good one!
So can you help? Choosing the image, settings the keys, etc...

PS : my installation is set for ASTRA and HOTBIRD with a disecq but for now, I can see no signal on the DM menu.

Je viens d'acheter une DM 500S (en passant, je ne sais pas si c'est une vraie ou un clone).
J'ai réussi à la connecter à mon PC en connexion directe (et je n'ai pas de cable série).
J'ai installé DCC mais maintenant je suis un peu perdu dans toute la masse d'information disponible.
J'aurai besoin d'un peu d'aide (choix d'image, clés...).
Merci d'avance.

PS : ma parabole est règlée sUR ASTRA et HOTBIRD avec un disecq mais pour l'instant, je ne vois aucun signal au niveau de la DM.

You first need to flash with another image than the official one, begin with a gemini image but be sure to have a guenuine dreambox, if not install a nabilosat image or a gemini4.10 not higher.
Use dreambox flashwizard to upgrade, DCC is only to send files with FTP.
