Lithuanian DTT goes national

The Lithuanian DTT service Digital GALA TV is now available almost nationally following the full activation of transmitters in five locations.

There are now a total of 20 in the country, with seven more to be added later this year to improve signal quality, offering viewers a total of over 40 channels, 13 of which are Lithuanian, for a monthly fee of LTL29 (€ 8.46).

Digital Gala TV is operated by the incumbent telco TEO LT. It also has an IPTV service, named Interactive GALA, which offers VOD and has over 40,000 subscribers.
