i have this version of metabox receiver "in the picture".

when i switch it on it stay write "ON" and did not start.

may you have to take your receiver to a qualified technician, because i think you have to do a JTAG operation to reanimate your receiver...

I had the same problem like you with the metabox.it stay just ON.
I have changed JTAG and now it is OK.
