null modem cable

please tell me how to i deperate and im serious
i have the rs 232 but its not a null modem cable and my pc dont recognize the de mo and i dont know what is the plug viaccess and the software for inserate keys of the radix epsilon fta 1 advanced
if its a cable problem tell me how to emulate a null modem cable with a rs 232 cable if its possible or where can i buy one
