Hungary’s National Communications Authority (NHH) has published the results of a study into electronic communication services it undertook last autumn.
It predicts that the biggest growth in internet usage in the next 1-2 years will be via cable, mobile and other access methods, at the expense of ADSL.
It also pointed out that 23.2% of the total population, or 39.21% of all cable subscribers, were able to receive digital cable TV at that time.
However, only 21.1% of this total chose to do so.
The report also predicted that the number of homes in Hungary receiving IPTV services would rise to 100,000 within the next two years.
