Multichoice ups DTH prices

Multichoice has increased its DTH prices for its DStv package in South Africa.

The prices are effective April 1 say local reports. DStv’s new rates are (all in Sth Africa Rand):
• The DStv Premium bouquet will be increasing from R468.99 to R499.
• The DStv Compact bouquet will be increasing from R199 to R219.
The DStv Select bouquet increases are still subject to confirmation.
• The DStv North Indian bouquet will be increasing from R222.75 to R237.
• The DStv South Indian bouquet will be increasing from R168.91 to R179.70.

• The combined DStv North and South Indian bouquet will be increasing from R391.66 to R416.70.
• The DStv Portuguesa bouquet will be increasing from R222.75 to R237.

Reportedly, DStv’s decoder/receiver prices will also rise. The DSD1110 single decoder price will increase from R399 to R499. The Pace TDS850 HD decoder price will increase from R3299 to R3999.
