The caps and resistors are a bang on match!. Or u can use the xtal from the Blue Nexus mod as...they work here also.
You will need an extra 74HC(T)74 flip-flop (lets call it "ic").
When bending pins for easier soldering...be very gentle and remember, once bent...they will break off if you try
and straighten them more than once!
make these connections:
On new ic, Break off pins 8,9,10,11,12 and 13.
Fold pin2 and 6 so they lay flat on bottom of ic and connect with a jumper.
Bend pin4 and 5 so they lay flat on top.
Place new ic directly on top of old one so pins 1,7 and 14 are just touching the corresponding pins below and solder them.
solder a jumper to pin13 of existing ic then measure, cut, tin and connect it to pin4 of new ic.
Bend pin leg3 of new ic and pin leg5 of existing ic and solder together as shown in pic (front)
Solder a jumper to pin 4 of new ic, measure, cut, tin and solder one of the legs u broke off the other side to the other
end of the jumper.
Place double flip-flop into slot and when u plug pin4 into slot4, ensure it isn't touching any other pins and that it is secure!
Ingtepo says, need below as extra parts for MOD.
