I am having a problem in receiving signals from Hotbird & Astra satellites. I am using 2.6 dish with 2 c=bands and 1 ku LNB's and srt 4651x. Furthermore I live in north western part of Nigeria. Pls help.

First use attachment factory firmware then use last africa firmware from this link :

hey my position is LEbanon Middle east , i have a strong str 4622x
i have Hotbird and Nilesat, i get a 99% signal for all nilesat channels , and for hotbird between 75 and 85 % of signal.


i can watch all hotbird channels (sure those that i have access of)

but there is a german channel called ARD Das Erste which is Free and on Hotbird , i always get w scrambled picture and always signal varies from 20% till 75% every 2 seconds.

can some1 tell me if the problem is from my place , or the channel itself ?

I am grateful for replying my request. I have upgraded my strong srt 4651x receiver with files as directed, but up to now, I cannot get any signal from Hotbird/Astra satellites. Moreover, the receiver is rejecting any new frequency I attempt to enter. Please I need your help

Put only this factory firmware then test receiver signal.

Salam, Hotbird? you can get it if you r located in far north side of Nija places like Gombe, maiduguri, Katsina there r hopes of getting it with just a 1.8m sized dish but for other places u just need a bigger, much Bigger dish. So i think your problem is not with any software with the receiver but just your dish size.
