Tellenbach heads Premiere’s supervisory board
Markus Tellenbach (left) has been appointed chairman of German pay-TV broadcaster Premiere’s supervisory board.
The Swiss national follows Richard Roy, who took over the responsibilities of chairman on an interim basis after former chairman Richard Großkopf resigned in February. Roy will retain his position as deputy chairman. In addition to Tellenbach and Roy, the supervisory board comprises Stefan Jentzsch, Tom Mockridge and Hans Seiler.
Tellenbach, who was appointed to the supervisory board in June 2008, is currently CEO of Swiss online video provider Convers Media Services. He previously headed SBS Broadcasting, Premiere, VOX and Kirch Pay-TV, amongst other companies.
