Ziggo adds Sci-Fi

Holland’s largest cable operator Ziggo will add NBC Universal’s Sci-Fi to its line-up of digital channels on May 1.

With the new distribution agreement, Sci-Fi will add over 1.1 million digital homes in The Netherlands. The channel is already available on the UPC network.

A name change for the channel was announced recently. Starting in the US on July 7, it will be known as SyFy.
