TF1 confirms AB talks

TF1 Group last week confirmed talks with AB Groupe, reported here a month ago, were still ongoing, with the objective to raise its stake in the broadcaster or take over part of AB’s activities.

No agreement has been signed up yet. TF1 already owns 33.5 % of AB Groupe that includes production subs, as well as cabsat and DTT channels like RTL9 and NT1, and 40% of joint DTT leading channel TMC.
