Setanta makes Premier League payment
By James Welsh
Setanta has made a scheduled payment of £50m to the Premier League according to its contracted schedule.
The sports broadcaster had requested that payments relating to its agreement with the League be rescheduled after conducting a full review of all services because it lost a package of football rights to Sky; however, it was held to the schedule.
According to The Telegraph, the next major payment to be faced by Setanta will be £67m to the League due in August.
