Portugal Telecom adds new services to Meo



Portugal Telecom has introduced three new services for subscribers of its IPTV service 'Meo' - My Account ('A Minha Conta'), Meo Magazine and Games ('Jogos') - available for free to all subscribers through the service's main menu.

My Account enables the customer to review the channels and packages they have subscribed to, as well as films rented over the past month, with secure access via a PIN code.
Meo Magazine offers an interactive magazine with suggestions of programmes available on the service and titles available on the 'Videoclube' VOD library, as well as enabling subscribers to schedule recordings, subscribe to channels and rent films.

The new Games area is free to access and offers games organised by Kids (with Moggles and Sudoko Jr), Puzzle and Strategy (with Sudoku, Cosmox and Patience), and Board Games and Arcade (with Drop Duel, Kaboom, Rockswap Adventures and Chess Challenge).

Portugal Telecom had reached 312,000 IPTV subscribers by the end of last year, adding 110,000 customers in the last three months of 2008 alone.
