The Hulk

Hulk is a superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character of the same name. After a freak lab accident unleashes a genetically enhanced, impossibly strong creature, a terrified world must marshal its forces to stop a being with abilities beyond imagination. The only thing that can calm his rage is the sight of Betty. Meanwhile, a creepy janitor claims to be his real father, Dr. David Banner, and starts to secretly use the experimental ray on himself. At the same time, Talbot is looking to profit off the experiment by patenting the Hulk’s superpowers. Bruce must know when to muster up the Hulk’s incredible strength and rage to protect himself and his loved ones and when to calm down before things get out of control. Hulk was nominated for 3 Saturn Awards and won a BMI award in the music category. This movie is rated PG-13 for sci-fi action violence, some disturbing images and brief partial nudity.

Hellboy is somewhat adopted by Dr. Trevor Broom, a specialist in the occult cultures. Sixty years on, Hellboy has matured and now works in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense alongside two comrades; Abe Sapien and Liz Sherman, whom Hellboy has an infatuation for. However, Liz can’t seem to come to terms with her great powers and repeatedly leaves the bureau and admits herself to the mental hospital. Meanwhile, Kroenen and his partner Ilsa have resurrected Rasputin and head for New York’s Machen Library for Paranormal Artifacts. Through the use of magic, Rasputin is able to summon a deadly hellhound known as Sammael. To add to the beasts devastating abilities, Rasputin imbues it with the power to split and reincarnate through quick hatching and maturing eggs. Hellboy is doing all he can to put an end to this, but the more he kills Sammael, the more it multiplies. Hellboy was followed by a sequel released in 2008, Hellboy II: The Golden Army. The film won a Saturn Award and an Imagen Award and nominated for several others. This movie is rated PG-13 for sci-fi violence and images.

In The Bourne Supremacy the CIA's clandestine program to eliminate Jason was dubbed Treadstone; now it is known as Blackbriar. This time around Mr. Bourne has had enough and wants to specifically identify his adversaries. Fortunately Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), an agent herself, feels that the organization's actions are immoral and gives the wanted man some survival tips. Like the films that preceded Bourne Ultimatum there is no shortage of unbelievable action that actor Matt Damon has essentially made his trademark. The Bourne Ultimatum was awarded 3 Oscars and nominated for a Teen Choice and 2 MTV Movie Awards. Composer John Powell, who scored the previous two Bourne films, returns once again. Electronic artist Moby is also featured on the soundtrack.

X-MEN

The film starts in Congress as Senator Robert Kelly attempts to pass a "Mutant Registration Act", which would force mutants to publicly reveal their identities and abilities. Magneto, the leader of Brotherhood of Mutants, begins his plans to level the playing field between mutants and humans, intending to mutate world leaders at a United Nations summit with a machine he has built to bring about acceptance of mutant-kind. But Professor Charles Xavier, who lead the peaceful mutants “X-Men,” decided to stop him. The conflict starts when a girl named Rogue, who runs away from her home in Meridian, Mississippi, meets Wolverine in Canada, to be suddenly attacked by Sabretooth, a mutant and associate of Magneto. Cyclops and Storm arrive and save them and bring them to the X-Mansion. Afterwards, a fight ensues with Wolverine, Cyclops and Storm against Magneto, Toad and Sabretooth. Rogue is kidnapped by Magneto, as he intends to use her ability to absorb other mutant's abilities on himself so that Rogue can power his machine in order to mutate the world leaders who are meeting for a summit on nearby Ellis Island. A climax takes place at the Statue of Liberty. Magneto transfers his powers to Rogue ho is forced to use them to start the machine. The two group of mutants begin a fight. Storm uses her abilities to send Wolverine to the top of Magneto's machine. With time running out, Wolverine manages to destroy the machine and save Rogue. Placing her hand to his face, Wolverine succeeds in transferring his regenerative abilities to a dying Rogue. Finally, Xavier visits Magneto in his plastic prison cell, and the two play chess. Magneto warns his friend that he will continue his fight, to which Xavier promises that he (and the X-Men) will always be there to stop him.

FOREVER STRONG

Rick Penning (Sean Faris) struggles to impress his rugby-obsessed dad and coach, Richard (Neal McDonough) both on the field and off, but repeatedly fails to tackle the later. Slowed reflexes cause the rugby prodigy to drive off an embankment, totaling his vehicle and seriously injuring Emily. When authorities arrive he is arrested and sent to a Salt Lake City juvenile detention center to begin a one year bid. Once inside Rick tangles with and defeats a handful of other inmates, but soon attracts the attention of the facility's encouraging guidance counselor, Marcus Tate (Sean Astin) who leverages the delinquent's rugby skills to embark on a path of redemption. Tate pairs Rick with famed rugby coach Larry Gelwix (Gary Cole) and begins an intensive training program. Gelwix ultimately wants his new protégé to play for Highland High School, a longtime rival of his father's. He begrudgingly agrees to Gelwix's proposition, but not without his previous team's disappointment. A close friend and teammate's death, coupled with moral support from girlfriend Emily and mother Natalie (Julie Warner) triggers Rick to reconsider his bratty past and start anew. When both teams face off Penning Jr.'s sense of commitment and ethics will be put to the ultimate test. Rating: Rated PG-13 for thematic material involving teen drug and alcohol use, and for some disturbing images.

Universal Soldier :The Return

Luc Devereaux, the only surviving member of the original Universal Soldier Team. He now works with Dylan Cotner, on a project to create and improve a new Universal Soldier. Their plan is for the Universal soldier or UNISOLS to be controlled by a computer they call SETH. When the government decides to terminate the project, which includes shutting down SETH. SETH, not wanting this to happen, takes steps to prevent this. He first kills Dylan. He then has himself transfered into a body. He then seeks out Luc Devereaux, who is the only person who knows the code that will stop his program from being deleted. So he sends out all the UNISOLS to get him. Luc must try and stay away until SETH program is deleted. But SETH has targeted his daughter as possible leverage. Rated R for nonstop strong violence, and for language and nudity.
