Lettra makes web-TV comeback JörnKrieger
Failed German literature channel Lettra is making a comeback. This time, however, the service will be offered not as a television channel, but as a web portal for literature fans.
At www.lettra.tv, viewers can find videos and text articles on books and new publications as well as reports, reviews, book tips and interviews with authors, publishers and critics. Users can also write their own articles.
Lettra ceased transmissions on April 1 2008 due to financial difficulties after just six months on air. The Berlin-based TV station was available on pay-TV platforms via cable and satellite.
