Luxemburg-based shopping channel em24 has terminated its distribution via cable and satellite.
Since the channel’s launch in November 2008 it has received many suggestions for programming, operating company EuproMedia explained. “We will now use the input we’ve received to develop new content concepts and revamp the programme structure together with our customers and partners.” em24 plans to make a comeback in autumn, promising an attractive programme offer which will reflect the interests of its viewers.
The German-language channel, which was distributed on Astra (19.2° East), screened infotainment, teleshopping and infomercial programmes covering fields such as art, sport, real estate, cars and interior design. The target group was viewers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.
