Clifford Irving, a struggling writer desperate to be a famous bestselling author. After his novel gets rejected, he concocts a crazy plot in which he convinces McGraw-Hill that he has been contacted by Howard Hughes in order to tell the official life story of the reclusive billionaire. With the help of his friend, nervous writer Dick Suskind, and Irving's artist wife, Edith, he attempts to get away with one of the greatest literary hoaxes of the 20th century. He goes to elaborate lengths to pull the wool over the eyes of his editor, Andrea Tate, as well as his publisher, Shelton Fisher, and the managing editor of Life magazine, Ralph Graves, who is offering big bucks to serialize the book. As Irving gets deeper and deeper into the lies, he begins to embody Hughes, mimicking the way he looks and talks. The film features excellent performances all around, including star turns by Eli Wallach as longtime Hughes employee Noah Dietrich and Julie Delpy as Nina Van Pallandt, a former flame of Irving's whom he can't shake loose. The Holiday

American Amanda Woods (Cameron Diaz) and English native Iris Simpkins (Kate Winslet) are two women from two different continents who share one common problem: men. For years Iris and coworker Jasper (Rufus Sewell) have had intermittent affairs, and while neither acknowledged any kind of formal relationship, Iris harbored romantic feelings for Jasper – and assumed the feeling was mutual. So when Jasper announced his engagement to another woman Iris was understandably heartbroken and felt betrayed. Meanwhile in the United States Amanda learns that her boyfriend, Ethan Ebbers (Edward Burns) has been unfaithful and so their relationship comes to an abrupt end. Not long afterward Iris posts a somewhat unorthodox advertisement on the Internet proposing a house swap with another professional woman, in any part of the world. Amanda, a big shot movie trailer editor, encounters the journalist's ad and decides to exchange her sunny Los Angeles mansion for a quiet and quaint home in Surrey, England. At first the relocation is a shock, but eventually she cozies up with Graham (Jude Law), Iris' brother. What was initiated as a simple one-night stand quickly transforms into romance; consequently, Amanda's upcoming return to America seems to arrive much too soon. Similarly, in California, Iris is soaking up the sun and indulging in everything LA has to offer. She eventually meets Miles (Jack Black), an associate of Ethan's still reeling over his girlfriend's infidelity. Miles' gruff and carefree attitude meshes well with Iris' personality and a romance begins to spark. Both women seem to have found what they are looking for. Unfortunately, it seems they must eventually leave their dreams behind – but must they really? The Holiday won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Chick Flick, in addition to an MTV Movie Award nomination. At the box office the picture was a knockout success, earning over $205 million around the world, easily recuperating its seemingly steep $85 million budget. The Nines

A troubled actor, a television show runner, and an acclaimed videogame designer find their lives intertwining in mysterious and unsettling ways. The Nines is a clever, mind-bending thrill ride through the mind of an actor, a writer, and a videogame designer who arguably controls them all. The story is a complex, thought-provoking work divided into three sections and featuring the same actors playing different roles, with the number nine always lurking in the background. Gary, an actor who plays a cop on television, uses too much lighter fluid when he burns his ex-girlfriend's things, then he drinks and drives, uses crack, and crashes his car. He sobers up in jail and is placed under house arrest and the watchful eye of a publicist, the cheery and tough-minded Margaret. She moves him into the empty house of a writer who's away in Canada on a shoot. Gary meets Sarah, an attractive and seemingly-willing neighbor. His friendship with Margaret blooms and strange things happen: he finds notes he doesn't remember writing, he hears noises, and he seems to bump into himself in the kitchen. Two remaining chapters reveal what's going on. Certain minute elements repeat in each part, giving clues as to what it's all really about as fantasy and reality intertwine. Nacho Libre

Funnyman Jack Black stars in this comedic tale of an orphaned man wavering between a life of religious solitude and a career in professional wrestling. Black plays Ignacio, nicknamed Nacho, who is a man raised in a monastery after his Scandinavian mother and Mexican father passed away during his childhood. Like the monks and nuns who served as Ignacio’s caretakers, he lives a simple, impoverished life. As he grew into adulthood he remained at the monastery and serves as its cook. While Nacho is not well liked by the religious men at the center, the orphans adore him – and as a former orphan himself, the feeling is mutual. Each day Ignacio forages the streets of his small village for cooking materials, usually consisting of tortillas and bread. Since the monastery cannot afford sufficient food supplies, Nacho’s meals tend to disappoint. But Ignacio lives a conflicting existence. For all of his life Nacho has dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler, though he has postponed his dreams due to a perceived religious conflict. Nacho is also deeply inlove with Encarnación (Ana de la Reguera), a sister at the monastery who like him, is bound to a life of celibacy and when Nacho tells Encarnación of his dream she reaffirms the church’s stance on wrestling, remarking that it is a form of idol worship. Ignacio suppresses his wrestling dream until he is assaulted by a homeless man while attempting to gather food for the orphans; the assailant steals Ignacio’s tortilla chips leaving him in shame and unable to feed the children that day. Ignacio then decides to pursue his dream in secret. Wearing sweat pants, a blouse and a raggedly mask Nacho (Ignacio’s stage name) assembles a makeshift costume and prepares for his first match. His tag team partner is coincidently Steven (Héctor Jiménez), the man who previously robbed and assaulted him. Upon losing their first battle Steven and Nacho contemplate throwing in the towel, but when the fight’s promoters reveal that they will be paid even for loses, the team continues fighting. In order to justify his profession with his religion, Nacho uses all of his earnings to buy food for the children. Not content with merely losing and collecting 100 pesos, Steven and Nacho attempt to prepare themselves for bigger fights in hopes that they can become genuine wrestling stars. When his superiors at the monastery discover his pastime, Ignacio is ejected in shame and opts for a life of solitude in the wilderness, retiring from wrestling for good. However with Steven’s encouragement, Nacho takes part in a fight that may just change his life and the lives of the orphans he loves.

    The Other Boleyn Girl

A sumptuous and sensual tale of intrigue, romance and betrayal set against the backdrop of a defining moment in European history: two beautiful sisters, Anne and Mary Boleyn, driven by their family's blind ambition, compete for the love of the handsome and passionate King Henry VIII. Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson star as Anne and Mary Boleyn in this adaptation of the bestselling novel by Philippa Gregory. While their story is perhaps one of history's most well known, The Other Boleyn Girl has fun with the facts, creating a lusty, dramatic tale of deception and betrayal. The film begins with the girls' power-hungry uncle, discovering that King Henry VIII's marriage to Catherine of Aragon is falling apart. Their uncle suggests to their father that he tempt the King into taking Anne as his mistress, thus putting the family in the King's favor. But the King has no time for the strong-willed Anne, and instead turns his attentions to her already married, soft-spoken sister Mary. With her eye on the Queen's crown, Anne renews her attempts to seduce the king, driving a wedge between her and her sister. Eric Bana is a brooding, sexy Henry, and Portman and Johansson both give strong performances as the beautiful and bewitching sisters. While some might quibble over the historical inaccuracies of the film (of which there are quite a few), most will let themselves get lost in the sea of beautiful bodices, and the anticipation of when those bodices might be ripped off.

    The Brothers

Four best friends have made it to the top. Their crew, comprised of a lawyer, business executive, teacher, and pediatrician have no problem walking into a bar, smooth talking a random woman, and taking her home for the night. Derrick (comedian D.L. Hughley) is the odd man out amongst the men, who married early and is trapped in a relationship. A recent spat with his wife leaves him especially envious of his player friends. Terry (Shemar Moore), the exec and undisputed playboy, is the most outrageous womanizer in the group; his definition of a long-term relationship amounts to 3 days in bed. Despite his friends' admiration, however, Terry's life begins to feel worthless and shallow. When his therapist suggests starting a meaningful relationship with the opposite sex he gives it a shot. Soon the unthinkable is happening: he's falling in love. Jackson the pediatrician (Morris Chestnut) and Brian the lawyer (Bill Bellamy) are flabbergasted. What young, handsome, and successful bachelor would tie himself down to just one woman? Naturally, Terry's decision also baffles Derrick, who relentlessly laments marrying in his sexual prime. Of the three, he is the strongest opponent of the maturing playboy's recent decision. In time, though, Brian and Jackson both succumb to temptation and give monogamy a try. What ensues is an exploration of how each man's perception of women, dating, and sex begin to change with age. Derrick is no exception to this rule; while married, he too must realize that true love transcends mere intimacy. The Brothers cost just $6 million to produce, but yielded a tremendous return of $27 million. Critical response to the film was mixed, though mostly positive; on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes the pic received a 63% fresh rating amongst top critics. Rating: Rated R for strong sexual content and explicit language.

    Curious George

Will Ferrell voices The Man in the Yellow Hat, a gentleman who looks after his pet monkey - an inquisitive and wonderful creature whose enthusiasm often gets the best of him. In the film, the Man in the Yellow Hat (now named Ted) is a geeky museum guide, who travels to Africa in an attempt to obtain a huge ancient ruin that could save his struggling museum, which the owner's son wants to turn into a more-profitable parking lot. Instead, of course, Ted brings back an adorable, mischievous, childlike monkey, who inadvertently causes all kinds of trouble for him--though there's never much doubt that everything will work out for the best in the end. With the talented voice acting, the appropriately fun and laid-back music by Jack Johnson, the irresistibly likable character of George himself, and the wisely uncluttered plot, first-time feature director Matthew O'Callaghan achieves the rare feat of successfully and respectfully adapting one of the most popular children's books of all time.

    Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights

Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights is a prequel to the highly successful 1987 blockbuster, “Dirty Dancing.” While the 1987 edition was set in contemporary upstate New York, its follow up transports viewers to 1958 Cuba, where Fidel Castro’s revolutionary movement is preparing to usurp the country’s corrupt leadership. However on the verge of the nation’s upheaval a young, wealthy American expatriate forfeits the companionship of her wealthy boyfriend and opts for an attractive, kind, and meager Cuban boy instead. The film is produced by Lawrence Bender of “Good Will Hunting” (1997), “Pulp Fiction” (1994), and “Kill Bill” (2000). Co-producer and choreographer JoAnn Jansen’s experiences in pre-revolution era Cuba inspired the film’s plot, hence the film’s claim that it is based on a true story; the historical elements of the picture also may contribute to the validity of this fact. Romola Garai plays Katey Miller the daughter of Ford Motor Company executive Bert Miller who has relocated to Cuba for business. Katey is surrounded by other wealthy expatriates whose privilege affords them a luxurious lifestyle of fine cuisine and private education; the consequences of venturing out of this elite circle is often social isolation. Like Katey’s companions, the idea of actually mingling with real Cuban people is out of the question. However that changes when her friends hassle a handsome, poor Cuban waiter named Javier Suarez (Diego Luna). Disgusted at how her friends treat Javier, she soon secretly befriends the young man and leaves her snooty country club for Cuba’s vibrant nightclubs. It is at these nightclubs where Katey discovers Javier’s passionate and wild dance maneuvers. Although Katey is trained in ballroom dance, she has never witnessed such fascinating moves and begs her new love for instruction. Together the couple covertly prepares for a dance competition at a ritzy country club where Katey’s parents will be in attendance. However as Katey and Javier grow closer the country’s rising political turmoil may force them apart. Can true love survive a revolution and the distance between two different countries? Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights” contains a wonderful Latin-influence soundtrack that includes notable artists such as Black Eyed Peas, Monica, Christina Aguilera and more. The picture is rated PG-13 for sensuality.

This movie is rated PG-13 for language, crude and sex-related humor, and some drug references.

    Ella Enchanted

Can She Save Herself From Tyranny & Win Her Man? Ella Enchanted is a story set in the imaginary kingdom of Frell. It is customary in the kingdom that each newborn baby is granted a special gift by a fairy godmother. In Ella’s case her godmother is Lucinda, who endowed the young girl with the ‘blessing’ of total obedience. That is great news for Ella’s mother, who can rear a wonderful child keen to hard work and studies; it’s also great for Ella, who will presumably reap the benefits of her well-rounded behaviour. As instructed by her mother, Ella keeps her special power a guarded secret, not even informing her father of its existence. The family suffers a devastating blow, however, when mom passes away and Sir Peter (Patrick Bergin), the house patriarch, remarries. Ella’s new stepmother, a hot-tempered woman named Dame Olga brings her two equally nasty daughters, Hattie and Olive into the once happy household. In very little time Hattie and Olive accidentally discover their stepsister’s vulnerability, and use it for evil acts such as shoplifting. Ella’s only way to escape the girls’ oppression is to dispose of her blessing, an act that requires Godmother Lucinda’s help. As luck would have it, Lucinda is nowhere to be found, and once she is tracked down she is not only unwilling to help, but also insulted by the request. While being controlled by others is bad enough, it is not the only burden Ella has on her shoulders. The young lady is also an advocate for the kingdom’s downtrodden non-humans, including its giants, ogres, and elves. This puts Ella at odds with Frell’s Prince Edgar, but saves her life when an angry mob of creatures realizes her sympathy for their cause, and postpones eating her for dinner. Ella finds herself falling for Prince Edgar’s nephew, Prince Charmont, whom the former intends to assassinate. Along with the handful of problems mentioned above she must also ensure her love’s safety, all while continuing to avoid her plotting sisters. The Terminal

Nowhere To Call Home – Except An Airport Viktor Navorski, a man from the fictional country of Krakozhia, presumably located somewhere in the Eastern Bloc. His father, a jazz enthusiast, had a lifelong dream of obtaining the autographs of 57 American musicians in a picture he owned. Over the course of 40 years his father collected all except one; after his death, Viktor vowed to obtain the final autograph in memoriam of his dad. While flying from Krakozhia to America however the country underwent a revolution, and was no longer recognized by the United States. Because of that, his passport is invalid; additionally, all flights to Krakozhia were halted, and he had no way of returning home even if he wanted to. Since Viktor had committed no crime, authorities could not force him out of the airport or arrest him; in fact, he was not legally able to leave the boarding area of the airport. To purchase food Viktor returns abandoned luggage carts and performs odd jobs. This was much to the chagrin of airport security officer Frank Dixon who despised the foreigner’s presence. Strangely, and despite his lack of proficiency in English, Viktor earned the admiration of the beautiful Amelia Warren, a flight attendant who regularly transits through the airport. With her help he might realize his dream after all, and perhaps find the love of his life. Naturally, however, things are rarely so straightforward. The movie is based on the true story of Mehran Karimi Nasseri, who was originally from Iran, and birthed by a Scottish woman with a Persian father, Mehran ended up stranded in a French airport for 18 years. Exiled from Iran, and granted political asylum in the United Kingdom, his identification papers were stolen in transit from France to England. Once in England, immigration forced him to return to France. Since Mehran was unable to return to Iran in fear of political persecution, he made the French airport terminal his home. He became a regular face, accepted by employees as their friend. “The Terminal” earned more than $219 million worldwide. Its soundtrack was composed by longtime Spielberg collaborator John Williams, whose resume includes classics like “Schindler's List” (1993), “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” (1982), Jurassic Park (1993), and Jaws (1975). This movie is rated PG-13 for brief language and drug references.

    The Chumscrubber

They’ve Created A Mess...Can They Get Out Of It? A darkly satiric story about life crumbling in the midst of a seemingly idyllic suburbia. The Chumscrubber is about Troy Johnson, a normal teenager who supplies "feel good" pills to everyone in his high school, this way he spreads happiness all around. One day in Hillside in Southern California, Troy commits suicide. Troy's best friend Dean Stiffle, who found the body, is prescribed more antidepressants by his psychiatrist father Bill. When Dean returns to school, he is antagonized by drug dealers Billy and Lee, who were supplied by Troy. Their friend, Crystal Falls, flirts with Dean, but he soon realizes that her true intentions are for Dean to retrieve the remaining drugs in Troy's home and give them to her, Billy and Lee, and he refuses to cooperate. To force Dean to procure the drugs, Billy and Lee plan to kidnap Dean's brother, Charlie, as a ransom, but they end up kidnapping Charlie Bratley instead of Charlie Stiffle. The kidnappers hold Charlie Bratley – whose parents are still unaware that he is missing – overnight at Crystal's home, and Dean eventually agrees to go to Troy's home to find the drugs. As Dean delivers the drugs, though, Billy discovers that the bag doesn't contain drugs at all. An angry Billy starts a fight with Dean, and Dean is arrested. While trying to explain everything to Officer Lou Bratley, who happens to be Charlie Bratley's father, Dean reveals that his brother Charlie replaced the drugs with a bag of the vitamins that their mother Allie sells. Neither Officer Bratley nor Dean's father believes Dean's story, but he is released, whereupon his father increases the dosage of the antidepressants that Dean is taking. Later, a flashback will reveal that Charlie Stiffle crushed the real drugs and put them into a casserole that his mother was making for Troy's memorial. The next day is Troy's memorial service and the wedding of Mayor Michael Ebbs to Charlie Bratley's mother Terri. Lou finally realized that his son actually had been kidnapped and headed out to look for him. Now at Lee's house, Crystal asks Lee to help stop the kidnapping scheme, but he does not comply. Crystal goes to Dean's house for help, where she finds him hallucinating about Troy's death and finally expressing his grief. Can they get themselves out of the mess they have created? This movie is rated R for language, violent content, drug material and some sexuality.

Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day

Guinevere Pettigrew (Frances McDormand) is a nanny of many years experience struggling to find work. A series of recent jobs ended prematurely, forcing the governess to live on London's grimy depression-era streets. As the daughter of a prestigious vicar, homelessness was a great indignity. Job placement services proved unhelpful: Pettigrew lacked the youthful charm of her competitors battling for work in a struggling economy. During one otherwise unproductive visit to an employment office, Guinevere pocketed a potential client's contact information from a clerk's desk. The middle aged woman ran hastily to the listed address to secure an interview. Once there Pettigrew was greeted by singer and aspiring actress Delysia Lafosse (Amy Adams), and hired almost immediately. The governess' first assignment was to wake up Phil (Tom Payne), who she initially assumed was Delysia's prepubescent son. Shockingly, she discovered a twenty-something man instead, one of her employer's many love interests. Her duty is to eject Phil from the apartment before its owner, Delysia's other love interest, club owner Nick Calderelli (Mark Strong) returns from work. Soon Guinevere realizes that she is not a nanny, but a personal secretary expected to juggle her client's various facades. Each of her employer's boyfriends are merely used for their industry connections, in an attempt to further Delysia's career. None of the men know of the other's existence though, and it is Pettigrew's job to keep it that way. As a club owner, Nick provides his girlfriend with a regular singing venue -- not to mention luxurious accommodations. Phil is a prominent theatrical producer's son, preparing to launch his first major show; he is Delysia's ticket to an acting career. Lastly, Lee Pace (Michael Pardue) is Delysia's infatuated pianist, a genuine and loyal admirer who is regularly dismissed by the beauty. Amidst this chaos Guinevere unexpectedly meets her own knight in shining armor, but will she seize a once in a lifetime opportunity? Likewise, can Delysia put aside opportunism for compassion, security, and sincerity? Ms. Pettigrew Lives for a Day is based upon the identically titled 1938 novel penned by Winifred Watson. Rating: Rated PG-13 for some partial nudity and innuendo

    Flirting with Forty

Jackie Laurens is a divorced mother of two who is bracing herself for her fortieth birthday. To help her cope with her midlife dilemma, her best friend Kristine proposes a Hawaiian getaway, to which Jackie eventually agree. Not long after arriving Jackie hooks up with Kyle Hamilton, a hunky surf instructor in his early twenties. With the encouragement of Kristine, who insists “the only way to get over a man is to get under another” her fling with Kyle ferments into a sexual escapade. When it is time for the girls to pack up and return home, thousands of miles separate Jackie and her boy toy, hence making a long-term relationship seem impossible. However Jackie cannot keep her mind, or hands off of the surf expert, and subsequently arranges frequent weekend trips to Hawaii for intimate encounters. This is much to the chagrin of ex-hubby Daniel, her children, and even the relationship’s initial instigator Kristine. With tensions rising Jackie must determine whether Kyle can be a part of her postmenopausal existence. The ball is also in Kyle’s court, who must decide which he loves most: the sunny beach or supermodel mom. “Flirting with Forty” does not have a rating.

    You've Got Mail

This sweet romantic comedy reunites "Sleepless In Seattle" stars Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. He's the owner of a bookstore chain; she's the woman he falls for online. Both are unaware that she runs the little shop his company is trying to shut down. Kathleen Kelly is involved with Frank Navasky, a leftist postmodernist newspaper writer for the New York Observer who's always in search of an opportunity to root for the underdog. While Frank is devoted to his typewriter, Kathleen prefers her laptop and logging into her AOL e-mail account. There, using the screen name "Shopgirl," Kathleen communicates with "NY152." This is the screen name of Joe Fox. Joe belongs to the Fox family which runs Fox Books — a chain of "mega" bookstores similar to Borders or Barnes & Noble. Kathleen, on the other hand, runs the independent bookstore The Shop Around The Corner, that her mother ran before her. The central conflict of the film revolves around Kathleen and Joe building a relationship in cyberspace while they are business rivals in the "real world." A persistent mode of dramatic irony appears when Kathleen and Joe read each other's emails. This movie is rated PG for some language.

While attempting to leave the island of Madagascar by way of a ramshackle penguin-designed aircraft, they crash-land on the African savannah, setting in motion a whole new series of exploits. Meet the Parents

First comes love. Then comes the interrogation. Jay Roach, the man behind the Austin Powers series of films delivers another laugh filled comedy with “Meet the Parents” (2000), the story of a man striving to earn the respect of his girlfriend’s intense father and win her hand in marriage. Ben Stiller portrays Greg Focker, a male nurse who has fallen in love with a Chicago schoolteacher named Pam Byrnes. After a long period of dating Greg believes that the time has come to propose to Pam. However things hit a snag when Greg realizes that he must request her father’s permission before even attempting a proposal. Ordinarily that would be no big deal, but Pam’s father isn’t an ordinary man. Legendary actor Robert Deniro depicts Pam’s father, Jack – a former CIA operative who employs his rigorous interrogation tactics on each of his daughter’s prospective husbands. So far no man has been capable of passing Jack’s rough and incredibly thorough examinations – that happen to include a lie detector test. Greg is a well-meaning man but he manages to foul up at the worst possible moments; his visit with the Byrnes is no exception. For starters, Greg presents his potential father in law with a cut-rate bottle of champagne as a gift. Unfortunately while opening it the cork flies across the room and knocks over Jack’s urn containing his mother’s ashes. Could it get any worse? You bet. As if his mother’s remains lying on the floor was not bad enough, Jack’s beloved cat manages to relive himself on top of them. So Greg is off to a bad start, but – it was an honest mistake and there’s plenty of time for him to redeem himself. The problem is – Greg does not operate well under stress, and in this case Jack is heavily intimidating. During dinner Jack pokes fun at Greg’s nursing career and insinuates that it’s not the most masculine job. More importantly, the patriarch wonders why Greg did not become a doctor as he originally intended; naturally, the implication is that he wasn’t up to par. “Meet the Parents” was filmed under a $55 million budget and managed to earn an impressive $330 million worldwide and spawned a sequel, “Meet the Fockers” (2004). Audiences and critics alike tended to praise the film, only with a few exceptions. It was awarded a People’s Choice Award, an MTV Movie Award, and was nominated for both a Golden Globe and Academy award. The film is rated PG-13 for sexual content, drug references and language.

While the leads are in fine form, they are ably assisted by series newcomers, including the late Mac, Shepherd, and Alec Baldwin, who plays a scheming rival lion. Though various plotlines get increasingly ridiculous as the movie goes on, the good-natured main characters and their silly support players keep Escape To Africa entertaining no matter how far the story strays off the wildlife reserve. This movie is rated PG for some mild crude humor.

    Two Weeks Notice

Millionaire George Wade cannot make a move without Lucy Kelson, his multi-tasking Chief Counsel at the Wade Corporation. Lucy is a brilliant attorney with a strategic mind and also has an ulcer and doesn’t get much sleep. However, it’s not the job that’s getting to her, but George. Smart, charming and undeniably self-absorbed, he treats her more like a nanny than a Harvard-trained lawyer – and can barely choose a tie without her help. Now, after five years of relying on her for every possible decision, and calling her at all hours for help with even the simplest problem, Lucy finally gets fed up with the situation and gives him her two weeks' notice of resignation. Although George makes it difficult for Lucy to leave Wade Corporation, he finally agrees to let her go. Finally, free of George and his 24-hour requests, Lucy is ready to change course. When Lucy realizes that her potential replacement, June Carter, has some strong chemistry with George, she has to acknowledge her own romantic feelings for her boss. Likewise, faced with losing the person he relies upon most, George is forced to do some soul searching of his own. This movie is rated PG-13 for some sex-related humor.

    New York Minute

Today is the biggest day in the super-organized life of uptight overachiever Jane Ryan (ASHLEY OLSEN). She's due to give a major speech at Columbia University for a competition to win a prestigious scholarship to Oxford University. Meanwhile, her rebellious sister Roxy (MARY-KATE OLSEN) is planning to ditch school and go backstage at a Simple Plan music video shoot in Manhattan, where she'll slip her demo tape to the band's A & R team. Despite having so little in common and so much emotional distance between them, the adversarial sisters reluctantly journey together to the Big Apple, but their plans go wildly awry when a mix-up involving Jane's all-important dayplanner lands them in the middle of a shady black market music piracy scheme. Sidetracked, sideswiped and hotly pursued from Chinatown to Harlem by whacked-out truancy officer (EUGENE LEVY) and a wannabe gangster (ANDY RICHTER), Jane and Roxy reluctantly join forces and find unexpected romance with a charming Senator's son (JARED PADALECKI) and a handsome bike messenger (RILEY SMITH). If Jane doesn't recover her dayplanner - and the crucial speech inside it - she can kiss her college scholarship goodbye. If Lomax finally catches up with Roxy, she'll be drummed out of high school for good. Roxy and Jane seem to have everything going against them…but anything can change in a New York Minute!

    Stomp the Yard

DJ Williams is an acclaimed street dancer in his native Los Angeles. After winning a heated battle between a rival team, along with a lucrative cash prize, he is robbed and beaten – alongside his brother Duron. While DJ left the brawl relatively unscathed, Duron was not so fortunate and suffered fatal injuries. Despite his brother’s death DJ still faced charges for his role in the fight; rather than spend time in juvenile hall, his mother sends him to live with his aunt and uncle in Atlanta, where he will attend the prestigious, and historically black Truth University. On the first day of school he meets April, a highly attractive female student who is unfortunately spoken for by an upperclassman named Grant. In order to get closer to April, the freshman signs up to be tutored by his love interest. Eventually he steals her away from Grant, but not without some struggle in between. While at school DJ encounters a style of dance he has never seen before known as stepping. While he is impressed by its choreography, its traditional, highly structured form bothers him. After demoing his take on step dancing at a local club, he is soon scouted by two of Truth’s most prominent fraternities: the Theta Nu Theta and Mu Gamma Xi. Eventually DJ pledges the Theta Nu Theta, and teaches its crew how to integrate some fresh, new Hip-Hop influenced dance moves into their routines. Unfortunately the Gamma Xi have been secretly videotaping the Theta’s rehearsals, preparing to steal all of the fraternity’s moves at an upcoming competition. College life is so far rewarding for DJ but not for long. His seedy past back in Los Angeles will come back to haunt him, resulting in his dismissal from Truth and a breakup with April. Stomp the Yard was filmed with a meager budget of $13 million, yet managed to gross a whopping $75 million across the globe. Due to its success a sequel is already in the works, and is slated for release in September 2010. The soundtrack was also highly profitable, featuring artists such as Pitbull, E-40, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and many more. Rating: Rated PG-13 for a scene of violence, some sexual material, and explicit language.

    We Don't Live Here Anymore

Two Couples Struggle With Mixed Emotions Jack Linden and Hank Evans are both good friends who teach English at a local community college. The two are competitive in all endeavors, including their careers and early morning runs together. Hank and Jack’s wives, Edith and Terry respectively are also best friends. The two families spend most of their free time together and when the kids go to sleep the alcohol is popped open, the music plays, and inhibitions are slowly thrown aside. It is within these dynamics that each individual dares to fulfill their own lusts. While the Evans and Lindens both love their spouses, they must also confront their regrets and mutual deficiencies. Hank is unhappy as a professor and truly wishes to pursue a career in writing; Jack desires a wife who possesses at least rudimentary domestic abilities, causing him to take out his frustration on Terry via verbal abuse. The women are also unsatisfied. Edith is fully aware that Hank hunts for other female playmates on the side, while Terry wishes to pursue a career of her own, not content with the role of a traditional housewife. Desperate for escape, the Lindens and Evans secretly swap partners and fulfill their sexual desires elsewhere. Jack, Hank, Terry, and Edith can all sense that something is awry – but they ignore it. The Lindens’ children, however, are fully aware that mommy and daddy are a little too intimate with the neighbors. Is it that both couples’ marriages have reached the end of the road, or are they merely infatuated with the risqué nature of their affairs? Would divorcing their current spouses and marrying anew lead to happiness? This movie is rated R for sexual content and language.
