Guide to humax usage

hello there all ! im sorry i just decided i would buy my self a lil time from the hospital and setup a receiver ...im living in saudi arabia at the momet and there is now a days a way to get cable tv via the internet! the whole procedure is what i have no idea about! a good friend told me to visit this site but its kind of over my head.....if someone would be kind enough to tell/teach me how to enable my self to use my humax F1 5000 to link to my internet and how to install the codes/cracks if any for it to view the cable tv.....i have 2 spare dishes and i am more or less interested in sports ,movies and the usual news channels....

i'd be very kind of someone to help!

thanks bro! i appreciate it! btw if you could be kind enough to tell me which receiver i should buy! should it be necessarily humax 5400 or something otherwise thats good and economic you'd reccomend?

brother ,humax 5400 is an old model receiver but still good for emu or sharing if you are after only sharing then i would advice u to buy dreambox otherwise humax is cheap ( if available ) and easy to use

I have humax 5400 and i saw some files that says ART n SHOWTIME .I downloaded this file but its not clear that how can i upload these files to receiver or update the receiver .So could you please explain through images or just by reply in detail that how it works ?

for sharemax: just unzip file and connect ur humax to pc via nullmodem cable
humax config.:card+emu+s
card blocker: emm ecm
sharing protocol: HSIC
nagra auto:off
then go to sharemax folder and click 'Humax Share loader (Start) !
if server is ok password and username is correct then u can able to watch channels
internet connection is must if u using sharemax
