dm800hd ftp problem

hi everybody

does enyone has any idea for how can i ftp file to my dm800hd as every time i try i take ths message!
FTP1: < 500 OOPS: failed to open vsftpd log file:/var/log/vsftpd.log

wich is yout ftp client?
flashxp is not the right one for dm

are you able to connect using telnet?

don't forget OE boxes like 500+, 7020, 7025, 600, 800, 8000
have user = root as default but no password defined!
