Can I use an Irdeto CAM on a Dreambox 7020 CI port to read a gamma card instead of using the programmer attached through the serial cable?

I believe this can be done, but have not done this before. But I am no expert so who knows

Would love to try but Gamma's are not working anyway, otherwise I could try this for you.

It's working ok with original Irdeto Acces CAM. Sometimes you get some blocks in the screen, I've read in an other forum that that is a 7020 hardware issue.

If it helps i can confirm that it works in my case in 7020 with a matrix reloaded cam with no problem at all.Regards Tzimakos
