how do i program my echolink el 3020 ir wot software do i use do i program my abracadara in the receiver at the same time thanks
El 3020 ir plus is Beta C chip and El 3020 ir super is Alpha B chip.
If you use software supplied with the firmare, ie Aluming5.5, it will recognise your decoader and tell you what type you need to upgrade with.
Leaving the card in the decoader wont make much difference, but it is better paractice to remove it while updating and insert it back in when finished.
