Belgacom TV is offering its basic bouquet TV Comfort to all subscribers buying a bundle of telephony and internet services from the incumbent operator. This gives the consumer a saving of €18.50 a month.
The cheapest version costs €49.95 a month, which buys the consumer telephony and internet light access. The most expensive option is a pack with mobile telephony, broadband access, including Mobile 35 and internet plus, which costs €86.75 monthly.
Consumers can rent a second IPTV set-top box for €6 a month or buy the set for €79.00. A one-time activation fee of €50.00 is applicable.
Belgacom has said it now has 555,000 TV customers.
The service has a potential reach of 87% of the entire population, 78% can receive two IPTV streams and 66.2% (or 75% of all Belgacom TV customers) can receive HD channels.
The operator also claims it is in the top three of fastest growing and most innovative IPTV providers in the world.
