Irdeto upgrade

Hello,
I am trying to update the software on the Irdeto II cam, using SCM microsystems upgrade for XP. I cannot get the PCMCIA slot to recognise the cam.
It should state under device manager DVB CA Module, but all I get is " Other devices- PCMCIA MTD-0002". Also it will not recognise trying to load the driver.
Can anyone please help.

It is rather subject pcmcia controler

Maybe you have got to use a PCMCIA card extender, but where do you get one from?
