Installing softcam on Dm500

Hi, how do i get softcam to work on the dreambox, ive connected over my newtrok but not sure which directory i need to copy softcam into. Also should it open digitv straigh away or do i need to install it

hello for softcam you can use DCC to insert softcam in your box
like this target /var/keys
just put the right file . softcam for cccam mgcam .ect
an exemple

I'm very new for Dreambox... I have a DM 500S but I see only FTA, my Image is Nabilosat Darkstar 2..with CCcam and Newcs and MBox included.. I have no idea how to configure these Emu, I will appreciate your help to do it.. or I will put this decoder in the garbage bin ..

Dear Charly

First of all the popular image with most support are the GEMINI one.
When you have this image, you can install directly via Blue Panel each CAM you wish ... without manual configurations !!!

BUT, basically:
You have to start to read in our "HOW TO ... " -> Thread HERE how it all works!
