Dm 500s

I have fixed the problem below....thanks to all those who viewed this msg

Hi, I have recently bought a dm500s. I am very new to this and have a problem I hope someone can help me with.

I can telnet the box from the dos cmd prompt and connect with no problem but if I try to connect with DCC or any other ftp program i get a msg saying incorrect username and password and connection is refused.

Has anyone else had this prob and were you able to fix it.

I have same behavior, any ideas??
isn't by default root/dreambox?

Have you checked in Login box on DCC that the name and password are correct also check that your connection type selection is correct
