difference between cas and abra

I guys, i've read on few post that some package are working with abra and some with cas. Could you please explain the difference ?

the difference is that cas is only keys to some chanels not a full flash while the other one is a full flash

cas datas serve to update keys on your receiver.

I'm sorry ferrari but do i need to flash with firmware first and then i can put the cas ?

It is advisable that when you upgrade new firmware then put cas datas. but upgading the firmware is not always necessary. u can put cas data even upgrade the firmware
