how can i get Czech TV with my dish
hallo, i am new to this web-site, and need some help, i would like to receive Czech television in France and here are my questions.
1. i can get CT1, CT2, CT4 etc on the Astra 2 satellite but no picture, i have a criptoworks card from Czechie ,but no joy.
2. on astra 3 it is also possible to get the programs but the signal is not strong enough to produce any results.
my decoder is a Topfield 5010pvr, and i have a dish of 80cm. Can anybody help me with this problem?

About your 1rst question:
Can not be viewed package UPC Direct, becayse their system isn't hacked yet, so forget seeing those channels from Astra, only if you have an sharing receiver with a bit of luck to find an cline from someone may work.
Edit: Cryptoworks card is official card or non official?
About your 2nd question:
80cm is a little small dish, however astra is a strong satellite and i think you should get a good quality signal if you have installed your dish in the good point.
Edit: Astra 3 you mean Astra 1E/1G/3A at 23 east? you should also fix your lnb to get good signal, but sometimes this satellite need an dish up to 100cm or higher
You have an other alternative for free:
Digitv package offers many channels where are included CT's 1 2 4 sport, and some other Czech tv. Find the package and TP freq clicking here
The latest keys of Digitv is 01: 70 E5 F2 97 B9 C7 DE F4 38 CC 1D BD A8 B6 84 CC which work perfect! you should find digitv packg at satellite Thor 3/5 & Intelsat 10-02
this is, Digitv is the only way atm for CT's, hurry to get it.

hi, skinart idea is that you can see that channels on Thor2/3 1W. So you just point your dish there and make a search to add Digi tv channels. then you put this code 01: 70 E5 F2 97 B9 C7 DE F4 38 CC 1D BD A8 B6 84 CC and than enjoy your channels. regardsOriginally Posted by cockney_pride

You should point your dish or install a new small dish at 1 degree west that is called Sat THOR or Intelsat 10-02, after getting sat THOR you should install TP Frequences of package DIGITV that have Czech channels Ct and many more... Keys number you can add from your remote receivers, my poor starsat using number 0 / Keys Interface, chosing Nagravision Keys and finding Digitv adding those keys and the package is open for free.

hallo SkinArt, thanks for all your help, have you any idea what size dish that i need as i am situated in the south of France 80km inland from Bordeaux, and i cannot find a website that shows the footprint for the thor 2/3 satellite.
Also i am not sure how i can program from the 'remote receiver', perhaps you can give me a bit more information on this.

Evening! i think your dish and location is okay to catch the satellite THOR package DIGITV and Channels Czech, take a look here:
THOR SPOT3 Footprint:
This map shows area of coverage, and France is full covered from this satellite, so there shouldn't be a problem to get the signal, but remember satellite thor is ready 16cm from right of HB - HotBird, and the angle is slightly reduced a little bit for down.
You dont need a program to add or Edit Keys for your receiver, you may use buttons from your topfield remote: i not have topfield and really have no idea how this receiver add or edit keys: but i found a little tutorials around and i'm posting here hoping may help you.
===== Topfield Key Entry =====
Press Menu on the remote controller.
Choose "System Settings" (Or something equivalent) and press 121 to bring up a new menu item EDIT CODE. Select EDIT CODE and press OK.
Remote controller functions:
Red button: (Change CAS Type)
Green button: (Add): Enter new key
Yellow button: (Delete): Delete a key
Blue button: (Change code): Edit a key
Press red button on the remote controller to get list of encryption system types and select which one you want:
Vi*ccess
Irdet*
S*ca
N*gravision

Press green button (ADD). This opens a screen where we can use numeric characters 0-9, alpha characters A-F, DEL and OK.
The format of the key has three fields:

Code Data ( _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ) 8 pairs of characters
Use either the remote control or pick characters from the screen to enter the key.

Using the P*lsat example above:
Press the blue button (Change Code). Scroll through the list of keys until you find the keys with Provider 007101. Select the key that has 00 in the Index field. Then use the same procedure as above, to over-write the data in the Code Data field.
Make sure you don't change the Provider or Index fields.

hi mate, i think that here in this photo you have make a mistake.
The fourth lnb isn't for Thor 1W but it is Astra 28E degree
Because: HB 13E =>EW2 16E=>Astra 19 E=>Astra 28 E
Thor 1 W will be in the left of HB if we are being oriented by this photo

You've absolutely right, i do not know how i made such a thing like this with photoshop, please forget/ignore image of the dish that said polarisation of E2, ASTRA, HB and Thor since it is completely wrong, will try to fix issue with a regular image later. I think to take one of Fiku75' images, since it is authentic and correct. Thank you ferrari_666 for letting know.
