Moves to launch a second DTT multiplex are allegedly being held up by the country’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT).
Quoted in Satkurier, Anna Strezynska, the president of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE), said that the KRRiT has so far failed to submit its views – positive or negative – in a consultation on the tender for the second multiplex.
As a result, the UKE cannot open the tender.
Poland’s first DTT multiplex is due to make its debut this September.
